What are the options Greeks?

The Greeks (Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega, Rho) are derivatives of the option pricing formula. They measure how sensitive your option position is to: price changes (Delta), acceleration of price changes (Gamma), time passage (Theta), volatility shifts (Vega), and interest rate moves (Rho). Together they form a complete risk profile.

How does Delta help with hedging?

Delta tells you how many shares of the underlying you need to buy or sell to hedge your option position. A Delta-hedged portfolio (delta-neutral) should not change value from small moves in the underlying. Professional market makers use delta hedging to create risk-free positions.

Why is Theta called time decay?
