After stopping, each recording shows a waveform with draggable trim handles. Adjust the start and end points to select the portion you want to keep.

How do I allow microphone access?
When you click Start Recording, your browser will ask for microphone permission. Click "Allow" to grant access. If you accidentally denied it, click the lock icon in the address bar and re-enable microphone access.
Which browsers are supported?
Voice recording works on all modern browsers that support the MediaRecorder API, including Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. For best compatibility, we recommend Chrome or Edge.
What audio formats can I export?
You can export recordings as WAV (uncompressed, full quality) or MP3 (compressed, smaller file size, 128kbps). WAV is recommended for archiving or further editing, while MP3 is better for sharing.
Is the recording quality good?
Recording quality depends on your microphone hardware. The browser captures audio at the native sample rate of your device (typically 44.1kHz or 48kHz). For best results, use a dedicated microphone in a quiet environment.
Are my recordings private?
Yes. All recordings are processed and stored locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to any server. When you download a recording, it is saved directly to your device.
